Health authorities in Kuwait have reported that six individuals suffered minor injuries after debris from projectiles fell in a residential neighborhood in the northern part of the country. Early Monday morning, the Ministry of Health’s central operations center received alerts about the incident involving shrapnel and projectile fragments.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, the ministry’s official spokesperson, stated that emergency response units and ambulances were promptly dispatched, operating at the highest readiness level to manage the situation. Two women were treated on-site and did not require hospital admission, while a third injured person was transported to Al-Jahra Hospital for further evaluation and care.

Meanwhile, several other injured individuals arrived independently at Al-Jahra Hospital, bringing the total number of treated cases to six. The reported injuries included superficial cuts to the head and limbs, temporary hearing loss due to the loud explosions, and minor trauma caused by falls triggered by the blast impact.

Dr. Al-Sanad confirmed that all patients are currently in stable condition and have received appropriate medical attention, with no serious complications noted. In a significant development, field teams conducted a thorough inspection of the affected area immediately following the initial medical response to ensure no additional injuries were overlooked as part of the ongoing health emergency protocols.

The spokesperson emphasized the continuous 24-hour operational readiness of Kuwait’s healthcare system to respond effectively to all types of emergencies. He also urged the public to comply with official safety guidelines and follow instructions issued by relevant authorities to maintain public safety.
