A man shot during a suspected robbery in Karachi’s Ghaghar Phatak died in an ambulance while being taken to hospital, after lying on the road for a long time waiting for medical help.
Police identified the victim as Abbas and said he was wounded when armed robbers opened fire as he resisted a robbery attempt. The initial investigation suggested the shooting happened during that resistance.

Nazimabad body in bag identified, suspect arrested
In a separate case, police said a dead body found in a bag in Karachi’s Nazimabad has been identified as Adnan. Officials said the suspect, Nisar, was arrested with the help of CCTV footage.
Police said Nisar is a native of Badin district and worked as a gardener at a nursery at KDA Chowrangi, where Adnan also worked. The two were reportedly engaged in a personal feud for some time.
Police alleged that Adnan had tied Nisar with rope and tortured him two days earlier. Seeking revenge, Nisar allegedly killed Adnan with hammer blows, then put the body in a bag and discarded it.
