Xiaomi has announced that its standard Redmi K100 will launch in China on October 27, 2026. The company also released the phone’s design and several key specifications, months after the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max debuted in the same market in August 2026.
Official promotional images show the handset in a “Firefly Green” finish. It has a large rectangular camera module on the rear with room for two cameras, along with “Sound by Bose” branding.
Display and touch performance details
The Redmi K100 is set to carry a 6.83-inch screen with a 165Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3,500 nits. Xiaomi also confirmed a 480Hz multi-finger touch reporting rate and a 3,500Hz instant touch sampling rate.
Processor, software and overseas availability
Xiaomi said the phone will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a flagship 3nm processor first released in 2024 that is also found in the Redmi K90. It will include a D2 gaming chip and run HyperOS 4 software.
There is no confirmed international release yet, though the phone may launch outside China under the Poco brand. The K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max were sold overseas as the Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra.
