Security forces successfully eliminated six terrorists and detained nine suspects during a targeted operation in the Saran Tangi area near Quetta, Balochistan. The operation was intelligence-driven and focused on militants linked to the Indian proxy group Fitna al-Hindustan, conducted under the banner of “Operation Shaban-2.”
Alongside the neutralization of the terrorists, a substantial cache of weapons and ammunition was seized, enhancing the impact of the operation. Authorities emphasized that counter-terrorism efforts would persist relentlessly until all militants are eradicated.
In a significant development, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti commended the security forces for their effective action. He highlighted the elimination of six Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists and the arrest of nine suspects as a major accomplishment. Bugti also praised the recovery of a large quantity of arms and ammunition, calling it a noteworthy success.
The Chief Minister lauded the sacrifices made by the security personnel in combating terrorism and assured that operations against militants and their supporters would continue without pause. He reiterated the government’s firm stance on maintaining law and order in Balochistan and safeguarding the lives and property of its citizens.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also expressed his appreciation for the security forces’ efforts. He stated that the forces had successfully foiled the terrorists’ malicious plans. Naqvi described the security personnel as the pride of the nation and affirmed that the public stands united with them in the ongoing fight against terrorism.
