    Saudi Arabia Eases Iqama Regulations to Benefit Foreign Workers

    Saudi Arabia has recently implemented reforms to simplify the Iqama residency permit regulations for foreign workers. These changes aim to streamline the application and renewal processes, reducing bureaucratic hurdles that previously complicated legal residency for expatriates. The adjustments are expected to facilitate easier access to work permits and residency documentation, thereby improving the overall experience for millions of foreign employees in the kingdom.

    In a significant development, the new rules reflect the Saudi government’s ongoing efforts to modernize its labor market and attract skilled foreign talent. By easing the administrative burden, the reforms are likely to boost labor market efficiency and encourage compliance with legal residency requirements.
