Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar has clarified that the comments made by Noorain Niazi regarding Markah-e-Haq do not represent the official policy of the party but are solely her individual opinions.
Addressing the media, Barrister Gohar noted that Noorain Niazi’s interview was conducted approximately three months ago. He emphasized that controversial statements of this nature should not be broadcast on mainstream media platforms.
He further highlighted that Pakistan’s success in Markah-e-Haq was a divine blessing witnessed globally, a source of pride for every Pakistani. Barrister Gohar added that the adversaries are now fully aware that the entire nation stands united behind the Pakistan Army.
In a significant development, Barrister Gohar expressed concern over the ongoing denial of permission for meetings with PTI founder Imran Khan. He explained that such requests have been repeatedly refused citing security concerns and other reasons.
Despite the passage of 280 days, no meeting with Imran Khan has been authorized. Barrister Gohar announced that PTI will maintain its boycott of judicial commission meetings and parliamentary standing committee sessions until the restrictions on meetings with Imran Khan are lifted.
