Karachi police have arrested two suspected members of an international drug trafficking network in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area. According to police, the suspects were held during an operation based on confidential intelligence, said SSP East Zubair Nazir Shaikh.

Cocaine seized from vehicle near Gulshan Chowrangi

Police identified the detained men as Fahad and Usama and said they were involved in supplying high-quality cocaine. A large quantity of the drug, reportedly worth millions of rupees, was recovered from their vehicle near Gulshan Chowrangi. Officers said the narcotics had been hidden in a plastic box, and the vehicle allegedly used to transport the drugs was also taken into custody.

How the network allegedly distributed drugs and took payments

SSP East said the suspects used an unusual method to distribute cocaine. Network members allegedly left the drugs at designated spots and shared videos to signal where they were. The suspects then collected the stock from these locations and supplied it to different parts of Karachi.

Police also said payments from drug sales were transferred through online platforms. A case has been registered under the Narcotics Act, and efforts are under way to trace and arrest other members of the network, SSP East Zubair Nazir Sheikh said.
