Netflix has unveiled the first official trailer for the upcoming livestream concert featuring the globally renowned K-Pop sensation BTS. This highly anticipated release signals the much-awaited return of the South Korean boy band, who have been preparing for this moment over the past several years. The trailer promotes the special event titled BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang, which is set to be streamed exclusively on Netflix on March 21.

This live performance holds particular significance as it will showcase BTS’s first global presentation of their new album Arirang, scheduled to drop a day earlier on March 20. The trailer offers fans a glimpse of the band’s reunion and the energy surrounding their comeback, highlighting the excitement that has been building since the group’s hiatus. BTS leader RM’s voiceover encapsulates the spirit of the moment as he declares, “Seven together, we can do anything.”

The seven members—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook—are returning to the music scene after a break during which each member fulfilled South Korea’s mandatory military service. This period of absence has only heightened anticipation among their dedicated fanbase, known as ARMY. The livestream will be broadcast from Gwanghwamun in Seoul, a location steeped in history and renowned for its stunning views of the iconic Gyeongbokgung Palace, adding a majestic backdrop to the performance.

The trailer also includes heartfelt moments from the members themselves. Jung Kook, the youngest in the group, expresses his deep emotions by saying, “So emotional. I really miss them,” referring to their loyal fans. Meanwhile, Jimin encourages a spirited return with the words, “Let’s get back out there!” RM reflects on the promise the group made to their supporters, emphasizing, “We promised our fans we’d be back,” underscoring the strong bond between BTS and their global audience.

Musically, the trailer features a cinematic rendition of “Mikrokosmos,” a track originally from their 2019 EP Map of the Soul: Persona. Visually, it captures each member standing before the historic Gyeongbokgung Palace, while the powerful message “The world’s biggest band is back” appears on screen, reinforcing BTS’s status as a global cultural phenomenon.

Following the livestream concert, Netflix will also release a documentary titled BTS: The Return on March 27. This film will delve into the creative process behind the band’s new album, offering fans an intimate look at BTS’s journey and artistic evolution. In addition to these digital events, BTS is gearing up for their first full-group world tour in several years, planned to span 2026 and 2027. The tour will cover multiple continents, including Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America, and Australia.

The tour is set to kick off with three shows in Goyang, South Korea, followed by two nights in Tokyo. Among the notable stops in the United States is a return to SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, with performances scheduled for September 1–2 and 5–6. The livestream concert itself will begin at 8 pm Korean Standard Time, which corresponds to 3 am Pacific Time and 6 am Eastern Time, allowing fans worldwide to tune in and celebrate BTS’s triumphant comeback.
