The Sukkur Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education released the results for the intermediate examinations of the pre-medical and pre-engineering groups on Wednesday. This year’s results were notable for the rare occurrence of students sharing the top two positions in the pre-medical category, a phenomenon that has not been seen in several years.
In a remarkable achievement, Muhammad Ahmed Sheikh from Islamia College Sukkur and Noor-un-Nisa of Degree College Gambat both secured the first position by scoring an identical 1,008 marks. Their outstanding performance highlights the competitive academic environment and dedication among students in the region.
Meanwhile, the second position was also shared by two students: Roshan Meghwar of Boys Degree College Daharki and Umm-e-Kulsoom from Islamia College Ghotki, each earning 1,007 marks. Following closely, Maria Bano of Girls Degree College Sukkur claimed the third position with 1,006 marks, demonstrating the high standards maintained across institutions.
The board emphasized that the first and second positions in the pre-medical group were jointly held by two students each, underscoring the close competition among top performers. These results reflect the academic excellence fostered by the Sukkur Board and the commitment of students and educators alike to achieving high educational standards.
