Police have identified a man whose body was found in a bag in Karachi’s Nazimabad area, officials said on Sunday. The victim has been named as Adnan, and police said the suspect, Nisar, was arrested with the help of CCTV footage.
Police said Nisar is a native of Badin district and works as a gardener at a nursery at KDA Chowrangi. Adnan and Nisar worked at the same nursery and had been involved in a personal feud for some time, according to police.
Police allege torture, hammer attack and body disposal
Police said Adnan had two days earlier tied Nisar with rope and subjected him to bodily torture. Avenging the grudge, Nisar allegedly killed Adnan with hammer blows, put the body in a bag and threw it away, according to police.
