FIA Detains 400 Foreign Nationals in Islamabad Operation

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has recently conducted a large-scale operation in Islamabad resulting in the detention of 400 foreign nationals. This move is part of a broader effort to regulate immigration and address illegal residency issues within the capital city. Authorities are intensifying their scrutiny of foreigners to ensure compliance with visa and residency regulations.

Such enforcement actions highlight the challenges faced by Pakistani authorities in managing the influx of foreign nationals and maintaining national security. The arrests may involve individuals suspected of overstaying visas or engaging in unauthorized activities. This crackdown aligns with the government’s commitment to uphold immigration laws and curb unlawful presence.

In a significant development, the FIA’s operation sends a strong message about the seriousness of immigration control in Pakistan. The detained individuals are expected to undergo further legal processing, which could include deportation or prosecution. This initiative also reflects the country’s efforts to balance openness with security concerns amid increasing globalization.
