Pakistani social media influencer Hakim Babar was briefly admitted to a hospital following an alleged poisoning incident during his visit to the Sialkot district in Punjab. The incident reportedly occurred in Kotli Khokhran village within the Begowala police jurisdiction ahead of Eidul Adha festivities.

Authorities revealed that Babar was offered a sweetened beverage by two men, after which his health rapidly declined. He was promptly taken to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Sambrial for medical attention. Although initial examinations did not confirm poisoning, Babar was treated and subsequently discharged.

In a significant development, police have registered a criminal case against two suspects named Safdar and Sarwar Choor and are actively pursuing their arrest. Babar, who resides in Rawalpindi, claimed that the attack stemmed from jealousy over his TikTok fame.

Hospital officials confirmed that while no immediate evidence of poisoning was found, samples have been sent to a forensic lab for detailed analysis. The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities awaiting test results to verify the presence of any toxic substances.

Meanwhile, Babar’s condition has stabilized, and he is reported to be out of danger as the inquiry continues.
