The Ministry of Health in Kuwait has officially dismissed allegations stemming from a viral video circulating on social media, which purportedly depicts the mishandling of medicines at an airport. The ministry clarified that the footage is outdated and bears no relation to its current operations or protocols.

In a statement released on Friday, officials emphasized that the video does not represent the existing regulatory frameworks or systems governing pharmaceutical management within the country. They underscored that the clip does not reflect the stringent procedures currently enforced to maintain the safety and quality of medical supplies.

Notably, the ministry reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to rigorous oversight of pharmaceuticals, ensuring that all medicines are handled, stored, and distributed strict guidelines. This commitment is part of a broader effort to safeguard public health and maintain trust in Kuwait’s healthcare infrastructure.

In a significant development, the Ministry of Health also announced that legal measures are being taken against individuals responsible for disseminating misleading or false information. These actions aim to protect the reputation of the national health system and its dedicated personnel from harm caused by inaccurate reports.
