Indiana Fever forward Caitlin Clark attended the Kansas City Chiefs’ 22-6 win over the Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium on October 18, 2026. The game followed pregame activities organised by the Kelce brothers’ “New Heights” podcast. Clark, a Chiefs superfan and Taylor Swift devotee, was in a suite with Swift and others, including Haim.
The Kelce brothers have welcomed the connection. Clark had previously guest-appeared on the podcast, and she and Travis Kelce had already crossed paths during Swift’s Eras Tour stops in Indianapolis.
Caitlin 1 display at the New Heights tailgate
On the Saturday before the game, social media user @nosyone4 shared photos of a Caitlin 1 Nike basketball shoe on prominent display at the New Heights tailgate outside Arrowhead Stadium. The caption read: “Nothing special to see here just a Caitlin 1 display outside of Arrowhead Stadium ahead of the Chiefs game tomorrow!”
At that point, it was unclear whether pairs would be sold at the event or whether Clark would attend. The free tailgate was scheduled in Lot M of the Truman Sports Complex from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT. From 1 to 2 p.m., Jason Kelce hosted a fan meet-and-greet for Chiefs and Chargers supporters, and kickoff was set for 3:25 p.m. CT.
Caitlin 1 launch and Clark’s third Fever season
The Caitlin 1 debuted on October 1, 2026, in more than 5,000 Nike, Inc. retail stores nationwide. Nike CEO Elliott Hill had earlier confirmed that the release is the brand’s most significant launch ever, roughly twice the size of a standard Nike Basketball signature shoe launch.
Clark, in her third season with the Fever, set career highs in points (22.3), assists (8.3) and rebounds (4.0) per game. She led the team to the playoffs, where they lost in the first round to the Las Vegas Aces.
On game day, Travis Kelce was getting ready for and taking part in the game, while Jason Kelce interacted with fans at the tailgate.
