The Pakistan Navy has achieved a significant milestone by successfully testing a domestically developed anti-ship ballistic missile in the North Arabian Sea. This high-speed missile, launched from a naval platform, demonstrated remarkable precision by accurately hitting a designated target at a considerable distance. The test underscores Pakistan’s advancements in naval missile technology and strategic defense capabilities.

Notably, the missile is equipped with a sophisticated guidance system designed to evade enemy defense mechanisms while maintaining exceptional accuracy. This feature enhances the missile’s effectiveness in complex maritime combat scenarios, reflecting the Navy’s commitment to modernizing its arsenal with cutting-edge technology. The launch was closely observed by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, alongside the scientists and engineers who contributed to the missile’s development.

In a significant development, the successful test highlights the Pakistan Navy’s increasing operational readiness and technological prowess. This achievement is part of broader efforts to strengthen the country’s maritime defense infrastructure amid evolving regional security dynamics. The missile’s performance during the trial validates the Navy’s strategic focus on enhancing its long-range precision strike capabilities.

Following the successful launch, prominent national leaders including President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Defence Staff Syed Asim Munir, and other service chiefs extended their congratulations to the naval units, scientists, and engineers involved. Their commendations emphasize the importance of indigenous defense innovation in bolstering Pakistan’s security and sovereignty in the maritime domain.
