Fazeela Abbasi Granted Interim Pre-Arrest Bail in Illegal Clinic Case

Fazeela Abbasi, a well-known TikToker and dermatologist, has been granted interim pre-arrest bail in connection with allegations of running an illegal clinic. The decision was made on Monday by Special Judge Central Humayun Dilawar, who also instructed her to participate actively in the ongoing investigation.

During the court session, Abbasi appeared alongside her legal representative, Naeem Bukhari, and submitted an application for pre-arrest bail. The court approved her interim bail on the condition of surety bonds amounting to Rs50,000 and emphasized the importance of her cooperation with the investigative authorities. The hearing was adjourned until April 15 for further proceedings.

Officials have confirmed that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has filed two separate cases against Abbasi related to the alleged operation of an unauthorized clinic. Additionally, she remains on bail in a distinct money laundering case. In a notable development, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) recently reinstated her interim bail in the money laundering matter and directed her to approach the trial court for subsequent legal steps.

This latest ruling follows the earlier dismissal of Abbasi’s pre-arrest bail application by the special judge central due to her failure to appear in court. The judge’s written order criticized her absence despite scheduled hearings and denied her request for exemption on medical grounds, describing it as an abuse of the pre-arrest bail privilege. After this dismissal, Abbasi sought relief from the IHC, which granted her interim protection and permitted her to pursue remedies before the trial court.
