In a significant development within the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Director General Dr. Usman Anwar has authorized the promotion of 102 officers serving in various regions across Pakistan. This decision reflects the agency’s commitment to acknowledging the hard work and dedication of its personnel, aiming to strengthen the overall capacity of the FIA in tackling complex criminal activities.

The promotion orders encompass a wide range of ranks, with 27 Assistant Sub-Inspectors elevated to the position of Sub-Inspectors. Additionally, 55 Head Constables have been advanced to Assistant Sub-Inspectors, while 20 Upper Division Clerks (UDCs) have been promoted to Assistants. These advancements are expected to enhance operational efficiency and motivate officers to maintain high standards in their duties.

Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that these promotions are not merely administrative formalities but a recognition of the officers’ integrity, dedication, and exemplary performance in their respective roles. He urged the promoted officials to prioritize public service and to carry out their responsibilities with renewed vigor and professionalism, ensuring that the FIA continues to serve as a robust pillar in Pakistan’s law enforcement framework.

Furthermore, the DG highlighted the critical role these officers will play in intensifying efforts against organized crime, which remains a persistent challenge in the country. He called for the implementation of more effective and result-oriented strategies to dismantle criminal networks and safeguard public security. This move aligns with the FIA’s broader mission to uphold the rule of law and protect citizens from various forms of criminal activities.

In his concluding remarks, Dr. Usman Anwar extended heartfelt congratulations to all the promoted officers and their families, acknowledging the sacrifices and support that contribute to their professional success. This promotion drive is expected to boost morale within the agency and inspire other personnel to strive for excellence in their service to the nation.
