As the holy occasion of Eid ul Fitr 2026 approaches, mosques across Islamabad and Rawalpindi have officially shared their prayer schedules to assist residents in organizing their day effectively. The majority of Eid prayers are slated to begin early in the morning, predominantly between 7:00 am and 8:00 am, allowing worshippers to participate in the special congregational prayers that mark the end of Ramadan.

In Islamabad, numerous mosques have staggered their prayer timings to manage the expected large crowds more efficiently and maintain social distancing protocols where necessary. This thoughtful arrangement aims to provide a comfortable and orderly environment for all attendees. For instance, Jamia Masjid Noor Madina located in I-8/4, Street 85-B, has scheduled its Eid prayer at 7:45 am, while Jamia Masjid Noor Mustafa in Jinnah Garden will also hold prayers at the same time.

Other prominent mosques in Islamabad have set their timings slightly earlier or later to accommodate different neighborhoods. Jamia Masjid Usman Ghani in G-14/4 and Markazi Jamia Masjid Anwar Madina in G-13/3 are both holding prayers at 7:30 am. Similarly, Jamia Masjid Ibrahim in Jinnah Garden and Jamia Masjid Muhammadi in Shakrial’s Muhammadi Colony have planned their prayers for 7:30 am, ensuring that worshippers from various sectors can attend without overcrowding a single venue.

Further extending the schedule, mosques such as Jamia Masjid Ghulaman Sheikh Ahmed in Choocha Sheikhan and Jamia Masjid Anwar Madina in I-8/3, Kachnar Park, have arranged their Eid prayers for 8:00 am. This spread of timings across different localities like Phulgran, G-10/4, D-12/4, and Koral reflects a coordinated effort to facilitate smooth crowd management during this significant religious event.

Meanwhile, in Rawalpindi, the prayer timings follow a similar pattern, with most congregations beginning early in the morning. Jamia Masjid Al-Ameen in Morgah and Jamia Masjid Faizan-e-Mustafa in Dhoke Ghulam Ali have both scheduled their prayers for 7:00 am. Other mosques, including Jamia Masjid Syeda Amina in Morgah and Jamia Masjid Gulzar Madina in Shaheen Town, will conduct prayers at 7:45 am, providing ample options for residents across the city.

Additional mosques such as Jamia Masjid Hanafia Rizvia, Jamia Masjid Madina in Dhoke Noor, and Markazi Jamia Masjid Allah Wali in New Chakara have set their Eid prayer times between 7:30 am and 7:45 am. This distribution helps disperse the crowds and ensures that worshippers can perform their prayers in a peaceful and organized manner.

Authorities and mosque administrations advise all attendees to arrive at their nearest mosque well ahead of the scheduled time to avoid congestion and ensure a smooth and spiritually fulfilling prayer experience. It is also recommended that individuals confirm the exact timing with their local mosque, as slight variations may occur depending on the area and mosque management.

With these carefully planned arrangements, the communities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are preparing to celebrate Eid ul Fitr 2026 with devotion and harmony, reflecting the spirit of unity and gratitude that defines this blessed festival.
