The federal government has announced 5,375 job opportunities across several federal departments for people in Balochistan. The hiring process is being carried out at the district level to benefit residents of the province as much as possible.
To support local recruitment, the government has set up an employment cell in every district. Applicants from Balochistan will no longer need to travel long distances to apply.
Relaxed rules and online applications for federal posts
Candidates will be exempt from written tests and selected solely on the basis of interviews. The government has also granted a special 10-year age relaxation for applicants from Balochistan.
Job seekers can submit online applications through the National Job Portal, which was developed by the National Information Technology Board.
Separate QESCO recruitment across all districts
The Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) has also announced recruitment across all districts of the province. The power distribution company has advertised 2,798 openings ranging from BPS-1 to BPS-15.
These positions likewise have no written test requirement, and candidates will only be required to appear for an interview. Interested applicants can register and apply online through the National Job Portal.
