He reaffirmed his government’s commitment to providing comprehensive support to law enforcement agencies engaged in safeguarding the province’s peace and stability.

During the session, which focused on assessing the current law and order situation across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Afridi underscored the importance of protecting citizens’ lives and property as a top priority. He stressed that maintaining public safety requires coordinated efforts and unwavering vigilance from all relevant departments and agencies.

With the holy month of Ramazan underway, the Chief Minister directed authorities to implement stringent security measures around places of worship and religious congregations. He highlighted the need for foolproof arrangements to prevent any untoward incidents during this sensitive period, ensuring that worshippers can observe their rituals without fear or disruption.

Afridi further called for a clear and well-defined strategy among all institutions involved in maintaining law and order. He assured that the provincial government would allocate all necessary resources to support these efforts, emphasizing the efficient utilization of available assets to maximize their impact. The Chief Minister also urged continuous readiness among security agencies to respond promptly to any emergency or threat.

The meeting brought together key officials, including the Chief Secretary, Inspector General of Police, Additional Inspector General of the Counter Terrorism Department, Additional Chief Secretary Home, and Additional Inspector General of the Special Branch. Their collective presence reflected the government’s serious approach toward strengthening security frameworks and enhancing inter-agency coordination.

Overall, this gathering highlighted the provincial administration’s proactive stance in addressing security challenges and its determination to empower the police force as the frontline defenders against terrorism.
