In a significant development, the Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Coast Guards successfully thwarted a major smuggling attempt in the Pishukan area of Balochistan. This operation was carried out in close coordination with the Joint Maritime Information Coordination Centre (JMICC), highlighting the enhanced intelligence-sharing mechanisms among Pakistan’s maritime security agencies.
The joint operation was launched following actionable intelligence about illicit activities in the region. The coordinated effort led to the confiscation of a substantial quantity of contraband, including liquor and illegal medicines, which are often trafficked through coastal routes to evade law enforcement.
