In a tragic incident that took place three days ago on Sea View Road near Bukhari Commercial in DHA Phase VI, Karachi, police are still searching for the suspect responsible for a fatal hit-and-run accident. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Darakhshan Police Station, where a speeding double-cabin vehicle collided with a car from behind and then fled the scene, leaving the damaged vehicle behind.

The collision resulted in the immediate death of the car’s driver, identified as 36-year-old Salman, son of Saleem, who was a resident of Orangi Town. Two other passengers in the car sustained injuries due to the impact. This tragic event has raised concerns about road safety and the prevalence of reckless driving in the area.

Notably, CCTV footage capturing the accident has surfaced, providing crucial evidence. The video shows the double-cabin vehicle speeding and striking the car, which was then thrown several feet away from the point of impact. The footage also reveals the suspect’s vehicle traveling through various roads in the vicinity both before and after the collision, offering potential leads for the ongoing investigation.

Meanwhile, law enforcement officials have registered a First Information Report (FIR) and confirmed that the vehicle involved in the accident has been recovered. However, despite these efforts, the suspect remains at large. Police continue their pursuit to identify and apprehend the individual responsible for this fatal hit-and-run, emphasizing the urgency of bringing justice to the victim’s family and preventing similar incidents in the future.
