During the drive, about 23.9 million children under the age of five are set to receive polio drops, with polio workers going door-to-door to reach them.
Districts and children targeted in each region
The NEOC said the campaign will cover the following areas:
- Punjab: almost 9.278 million children in 13 selected districts
- Sindh: almost 6.883 million children in 20 selected districts
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 4.808 million children in 27 selected districts
