Renowned actress Zoya Nasir recently revealed that her mother believes her “wealth line” is leaking from her hands. This candid admission came during an appearance on ARY Digital’s Good Morning Pakistan alongside fellow cast members of the upcoming drama serial Mahnoor, including Humayoun Ashraf, Khadija Saleem, and Mahnoor herself.
The first episode of Mahnoor is set to premiere today, with the show scheduled to air Monday through Friday at 9:00 p.m. on ARY Digital. The drama boasts a strong ensemble cast featuring Malik Aqeel, Adnan Shah Tipu, Agha Mustafa Hassan, Rubina Ashraf, Talia Jan, Saleena Sipra, Ali Khan, Fatima Gohar, Anam Tanveer, Aiman Shehzadi, Rana Mehboob Sultan, Moaz Ishaq, and Rimsha Imran. The storyline is penned by Noor Kalam and Haroon Ahmed, while direction is handled by Arshi Ali and Hisham Syed.
During the interview, host Nida Yasir inquired about what keeps Zoya’s finances open. Zoya responded with some amusement, explaining that she is quite puzzled by this herself. She shared that both her mother and sister-in-law have remarked that her “wealth line” is leaking because she tends to spend money as soon as it comes her way.
She elaborated that whenever something catches her eye, whether for herself or for others, she tends to purchase it. Despite this, Zoya emphasized that she does not spend recklessly and considers herself to be economical. She also mentioned that although she is not particularly fond of traveling, she often has to visit relatives abroad, which adds to her expenses.
Interestingly, Zoya identified groceries as the area where she spends the most money, citing purchases of vegetables, proteins, and other essentials as significant contributors to her expenditure.
