Caitlin Clark Unveils Taylor Swift-Inspired Caitlin 1s Sneakers

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark has unveiled a new colorway of her signature sneaker, the “Friendship Bracelet” Caitlin 1s, inspired by pop star Taylor Swift. The reveal came during a team practice.

The shoes feature a blush-pink base, a bold metallic gold Nike swoosh running down the side, and Clark’s personal logo in royal blue on the tongue.

Bead charms and laces define the new design

The most striking element is the laces. Thick, fuzzy blush-colored laces are threaded with bead charms. On the left shoe, blue and red block letter beads spell the initials “CC” on the bottom lace.

Giving fans a preview on her Instagram story, Clark wrote alongside the reveal: “Yeah these are the ones.”

Swift connection and earlier reveal at home game

Before the theme was released earlier this month, Clark showed it at an Indiana Fever home game. She appeared holding a pile of blue friendship bracelets inscribed with “10.01.26” and “Caitlin 1.”

Clark has been a known “Swiftie” for years, and Swift has in recent years publicly expressed her admiration for the player. Swift reportedly sent Clark four bags of merchandise from her record-breaking 2024 Eras Tour, along with a letter describing how “inspiring” Clark is to her from afar. The two have also been seen together in VIP suites at Kansas City Chiefs games, cheering on tight end Travis Kelce.

Launch date still unannounced

A specific public launch date has not yet been confirmed. Even so, interest is already high, and the sneakers are expected to be among the hottest releases of the year. The overlap between basketball fans and Swifties is seen as a major factor behind that enthusiasm.
