Pakistan is set to welcome Sri Lanka and England for a busy international cricket calendar running from October 9 to November 21, as announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The tour will commence with Sri Lanka arriving on October 4, followed by three matches in Rawalpindi on October 9, 11, and 13. Subsequently, England will join both Pakistan and Sri Lanka for an ODI tri-series scheduled between October 18 and 31, taking place in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
In a significant development, Sri Lanka will also play a three-day match in Islamabad from November 4 to 6 before engaging Pakistan in a two-Test series. These Test matches will be part of the ICC World Test Championship cycle for 2025-27. The first Test is slated for Rawalpindi from November 9 to 13, with the second Test scheduled in Lahore from November 17 to 21.
Meanwhile, England is currently hosting Pakistan in a three-match Test series in Leeds, England. Notably, under the captaincy of Harry Brook, England has secured victories in their last two ODI series, including those against India and Sri Lanka. Pakistan has also been successful recently, winning their last two ODI series 2-1 against South Africa and Sri Lanka respectively.
