    Renowned Mountaineer Nirmal Purja Dies in Pakistan Avalanche

    Nirmal Purja, the celebrated Nepali mountaineer renowned for his extraordinary feat of summiting the world’s 14 tallest mountains within a record six-month span in 2019, has died in an avalanche in Pakistan.
