    HYK Defeats Pindiz by Five Wickets in PSL 11 Match at Karachi

    HYK achieved a convincing five-wicket triumph against Pindiz during their PSL 11 encounter held at the National Stadium in Karachi, successfully chasing down the target with 21 balls to spare.

    After winning the toss, Pindiz opted to bat first and posted a total of 121 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Sam Billings was the top scorer with 28 runs off 22 balls, while Yasir Khan contributed 24 runs from 30 deliveries. Asif Afridi provided a late boost with an unbeaten 15 runs off 12 balls as HYK’s bowlers maintained consistent pressure throughout the innings.

    Leading the bowling effort for HYK, Hunain Shah delivered an exceptional performance, claiming 3 wickets for 18 runs in his four overs. Mohammad Ali also impressed with figures of 3 for 21, and Glenn Maxwell bowled economically, taking 1 wicket for just 6 runs.

    In reply, HYK comfortably chased the target, reaching 123 for 5 in 16.3 overs. Irfan Khan Niazi played a crucial unbeaten innings of 34 runs off 29 balls, supported by valuable contributions of 32 runs each from Marnus Labuschagne and Kusal Perera, which steered the team to victory.

    Despite efforts from Pindiz bowlers to turn the game, Asif Afridi took 2 wickets for 20 runs, while Mohammad Amir and Ben Sears claimed one wicket apiece. However, their bowling efforts fell short of defending the total.

    In a significant development, Hunain Shah was awarded the Player of the Match for his impactful bowling display that played a key role in HYK’s win.
