Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said on Saturday that the chapter of those who destroyed the province has been closed. Speaking to media in Peshawar, he invited Maulana Fazlur Rehman to join efforts for the province’s prosperity.
Kundi said Fazlur Rehman used to argue that no government could be formed and run without him. The governor said the government had been formed without him and would still function.
Federal government criticised over law and order
The governor said the federal government had failed to control law and order in the province. He repeated his invitation to Fazlur Rehman to come forward and join the provincial team.
Calls to extract minerals and oil for the people
Kundi said minerals and oil found in the province should be extracted for the people’s prosperity. He said some people did not want the population to prosper, and vowed to turn 10 to 12 districts into model districts for security.
