Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said on Monday that curbing terrorism is the foremost priority and that development projects can be sacrificed for it. Speaking at an apex committee session in Peshawar, he said the province could not afford a worsening of law and order at any cost.
Kundi said there would be no difference between the federation and the province, or between the security agencies and the government, as all would be on the same page. He said that once peace returned, businesses would operate and bring investment.
Governor pledges visible results within three months
The governor said the government had three months to achieve what he said had not happened in the province over the past 13 years. He added that the administration would deliver results rather than just words, and that people would see them.
Kundi also said that the people of the province want peace and prosperity.
