The commander of the Turkish Air Force expressed his appreciation for the Pakistan Air Force’s assistance in training Turkish pilots during a meeting with Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu at the Turkish Air Force Headquarters. This significant interaction took place amid ACM Sidhu’s official visit to Turkiye.
During his visit, ACM Sidhu held high-level discussions with key Turkish officials, including General Ziya Cemal Kadıoglu, Commander of the Turkish Air Force; Yasar Guler, Minister of National Defence; and Selcuk Bayraktar, Chief Technology Officer of Baykar Technologies. These meetings underscored the expanding strategic alignment and mutual dedication of both countries to deepen cooperation in defense, aerospace innovation, and emerging technologies.
At the Turkish Air Force Headquarters, the PAF chief emphasized the importance of enhancing interoperability through joint exercises, training programs, and professional exchanges. Meanwhile, his meeting with Defence Minister Yasar Guler reaffirmed the longstanding historical and strategic partnership between Pakistan and Turkiye, with both sides exploring avenues for intensified collaboration in training, capacity building, and aerospace ventures.
