Actor Ethan Jamieson, recognized for his role in The Hunger Games, has been taken into custody on assault charges following allegations that he fired a handgun at three men in Raleigh, North Carolina. Jamieson, 27, was arrested on April 8 and is now facing three felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

The Raleigh Police Department responded to reports of gunfire at 9:52 p.m. on March 22. Upon arrival, officers encountered a victim who stated that an unknown individual riding an e-bike had fired shots at their vehicle while they were driving. Two other passengers were also inside the vehicle at the time.

During the investigation, detectives identified Jamieson as the suspect who discharged a firearm toward the victims’ car. The weapon allegedly used was a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, and the three men targeted are identified in court documents as E.F., J.M., and K.W.

In a significant development, Jamieson was denied bail on April 9. His next court appearance is scheduled for a disposition hearing on April 30. This incident marks his second arrest within the past eighteen months. Previously, he was arrested in Raleigh on March 21, 2025, for resisting a public officer. He was sentenced for that offense on March 26, 2026, just three days before the recent alleged assault.
