The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police have announced a major reshuffle of senior grade 18 officers, with all transfers and postings taking effect immediately. The changes were set out in an official notification from Peshawar.
Under the notification, Nasir Mahmood Satti, previously Hazara RPO, has been appointed commandant of the Frontier Reserve Police. Jahanzeb Nazir Khan takes over as Hazara RPO, while Syed Fida Hassan Shah, formerly Malakand RPO, has become DIG Operations. Zahid Nawaz is the new Malakand RPO.
Regional and district posts change hands
DIG Operations Shakir Hussain Dawar has been named Kohat RPO. Several officers, including Irfan Tariq, Dr Faseehuddin, Humayun Masood, Imran Khan and Shafiullah, have been directed to report to the Central Police Office in Peshawar.
Muhammad Azhar has moved from Mansehra DPO to AIG Operations, and CTD SSP Muhammad Waqas Khan will replace him in Mansehra. Muhammad Jameel Akhtar becomes DPO Upper Swat, while Niaz Muhammad takes charge in Karak.
Swat, Chitral and Haripur postings announced
Mushtaq Ahmed has been appointed SP Elite Force for the Peshawar region. Muhammad Khalid becomes Lower Chitral DPO, and Taimoor Khan has been posted as Haripur DPO. Resham Jahangir moves to AIG Logistics, and the notification said all moves take effect immediately.
