In a significant development for Punjab’s tourism sector, Maryam Nawaz has given the green light to the establishment of the province’s first Sky Glass Bridge and Glass Train in the scenic hill station of Murree. This initiative is expected to enhance the region’s appeal by offering visitors unique and thrilling experiences amidst natural beauty. The Sky Glass Bridge will provide panoramic views, while the Glass Train promises a novel mode of sightseeing, combining modern infrastructure with the area’s picturesque landscape.

Murree, a popular tourist destination known for its lush greenery and cool climate, has long attracted visitors from across Pakistan and beyond. The introduction of these innovative attractions is poised to increase tourist footfall, generating economic benefits for local businesses and communities. Moreover, this project aligns with broader efforts to develop sustainable tourism infrastructure in Punjab, aiming to balance environmental preservation with economic growth.

Notably, the approval of these projects reflects a strategic focus on diversifying Punjab’s tourism offerings and enhancing visitor experiences. The Sky Glass Bridge and Glass Train are expected to set new standards for recreational facilities in the region, potentially inspiring similar developments elsewhere. As construction progresses, stakeholders will be closely monitoring the impact on Murree’s tourism dynamics and local livelihoods.
