Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab has announced that the Natha Khan Link Road will soon be open to the public. He made the announcement after reviewing the ongoing development work on the road.
Wahab said completing the road would improve traffic flow across the city, ease congestion on important routes and connect Shahrah-e-Faisal with Gulistan-e-Johar. He added that Karachi needs more such link roads, and the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) is working on their construction.
Priorities for commuters and civic services
Wahab said better commuting facilities and reduced traffic problems are among the city’s key priorities. The projects aim to make daily travel easier and address fundamental civic issues.
He said the KMC team is also working to improve the area around Guru Mandir and Meeruth Kebab House. Road construction, rehabilitation and better basic civic facilities across Karachi are intended to provide relief to residents.
PPP leadership and KMC commitments
Wahab said efforts to serve the people will continue under the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). He said the growth of Karachi and the resolution of public issues remain top KMC priorities.
