Sindh has become the first province to link all of its educational boards with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), according to a report.
The agreement was signed at a ceremony attended by Provincial Minister for Universities Ismail Rahoo, NADRA’s Director General and all board chairmen.
Integration aims to curb fake degrees and proxy exams
Rahoo said the integration will help prevent fake degrees and proxy exams, which involve taking an exam on someone else’s behalf. He noted that all boards will be connected to NADRA’s secure digital system, bringing transparency to the examination process and digitising educational records.
Verified degrees to appear on Pak ID app
Rahoo said students’ verified educational degrees will also be available on the Pak ID app. Speaking at the event, NADRA’s Director General said the authority will provide the integration facility to all educational boards free of charge.
