Pakistani forces stopped an infiltration bid by Fitna Al Khawarij terrorists on the Pak-Afghan border in Kurram, killing 12 of them in retaliation, the military’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said. A group of militants tried to slip into Kurram district through the frontier, but the attempt was pushed back.

During an intense exchange of fire with the terrorists, Naib Subedar Hidayat Aman showed great courage and was martyred, the ISPR added.
CTD raid kills at least 10 militants in Barkhan
Earlier, a Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) spokesperson said on Saturday that at least 10 members of Fitna al-Hindustan were killed in an intelligence-based operation in Barkhan district, Balochistan. The operation, carried out under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 in the Rarasham Valley, followed credible information that militants were present in the area, the spokesperson said.
Authorities recovered a large amount of weapons and ammunition from the dead militants, and two CTD personnel were injured. The department said police and CTD personnel remain committed to eliminating terrorism from Balochistan and will keep running counter-terrorism operations in the province.
