The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar has announced the postponement of all matriculation examination papers originally scheduled from October 7 to October 10, 2026. This decision comes in response to the current political instability affecting the province, which has raised concerns about the safety and smooth conduct of the exams. The affected papers are part of the Oriental Languages segment of the Matric Annual Examination-II 2026.
The controller of BISE Peshawar confirmed that the new dates for these postponed exams will be communicated in due course. However, examinations slated to take place after October 10 will proceed as per the previously published schedule. Students and candidates are advised to stay updated by regularly checking the official BISE Peshawar website for the revised date sheet once it becomes available.
In light of the postponement, the board administration has cautioned students and their families against trusting unofficial sources or rumors regarding the exam schedule. They emphasized that only information released through official channels should be considered reliable. This move aims to ensure that candidates receive accurate updates and avoid any confusion during this uncertain period. The postponement highlights the impact of political developments on educational activities in the region.
