In Rawalpindi, a motorcyclist was seen desperately holding onto the bonnet of a moving car after his motorcycle became entangled and dragged along the road during a dangerous driving episode. The rider remained clinging to the front of the vehicle as it continued to move forward, while the motorcycle appeared caught near the car’s front wheel, scraping the pavement.
Sparks flew from the motorcycle as it struck the road surface, with the rider gripping tightly onto the car’s bonnet and windshield. The distressing footage of the incident has raised serious concerns about road safety and reckless behavior behind the wheel.
Following the event, City Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi, Farhan Aslam, instructed the Murree Road circle in-charge to file a case against those responsible. He emphasized that all available technical resources are being utilized to identify and locate the vehicle and driver involved. “Strict measures will be enforced against anyone endangering the lives of others,” Aslam stated.
The exact circumstances that led to this alarming incident remain under investigation. Meanwhile, questions have emerged regarding the effectiveness of the Safe City surveillance cameras in the area, including whether this reckless act was recorded by the monitoring system.
