Karachi Witnesses Massive Rally Supporting Pakistan Army Amid Afghan Taliban Attacks

In the late hours of the night, Karachi’s streets came alive as thousands of young citizens gathered to demonstrate their unwavering support for the Pakistan Armed Forces. This spontaneous outpouring of patriotism was triggered by recent unprovoked attacks launched by the Afghan Taliban along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, which have heightened tensions between the two neighbors. The rally, marked by passionate chants and slogans, reflected widespread public condemnation of the Afghan Taliban’s aggressive actions.

The participants, predominantly youth, vocally denounced the Afghan Taliban regime, labeling them as ‘namakharam’—a term expressing deep betrayal and ingratitude. Their slogans echoed through various parts of Karachi, signaling a strong message of solidarity with the military personnel defending Pakistan’s territorial integrity. This public display of unity came in the wake of Pakistan’s swift military response, codenamed Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq, aimed at neutralizing the threats posed by the cross-border attacks.

Following the initial reports of the Taliban’s incursions, groups of young people mobilized rapidly, organizing rallies across different neighborhoods in Karachi. These gatherings were not only a show of support but also a declaration of resilience, with participants pledging to stand firmly behind the armed forces in the face of external aggression. The atmosphere was charged with patriotic fervor, underscoring the deep connection between the citizens and their defenders.

Amidst these developments, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, addressed the situation with a strong statement of resolve. He invoked prayers for the protection of Pakistan and emphasized that the provocation by Afghanistan would be met with a decisive and robust response. Khan made it clear that Pakistan would not shy away from confronting any threats to its sovereignty and security, signaling a firm stance against any hostile actions.

This surge of public support and political affirmation highlights the growing concern over regional security and the challenges posed by militant groups operating along the porous border. It also reflects the broader national sentiment of unity and determination to safeguard Pakistan’s borders and maintain peace within its territory. As the situation continues to evolve, the government and military remain vigilant, prepared to take necessary measures to ensure the country’s safety and stability.
