Capital Smart Motors Launches Affordable JMEV EV3 Electric Car in Pakistan

Capital Smart Motors has officially introduced the JMEV EV3 in Pakistan, marking its entry into the compact electric vehicle market. Initially unveiled at last year’s Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS), this fully electric subcompact hatchback is now open for bookings, providing an economical choice for local consumers interested in transitioning to electric vehicles.

The EV3 is offered in two variants: the base model is priced at Rs. 4,899,999, while the premium version costs Rs. 4,999,999. Bookings are set to begin in April 2026, requiring an initial deposit of Rs. 490,000, although the exact date remains unconfirmed. Deliveries are planned to commence in July, resulting in a three-month waiting period for early buyers.

This launch represents Capital Smart Motors’ strategic move into Pakistan’s expanding EV sector, driven by rising fuel prices and growing environmental consciousness. The JMEV EV3 is aimed at first-time electric vehicle purchasers seeking an affordable entry point without sacrificing value.

Details regarding the car’s technical specifications, such as battery capacity, motor output, charging duration, and onboard features, have yet to be revealed. Capital Smart Motors intends to disclose these particulars closer to the booking window, following a phased release approach designed to build excitement and assess market demand.
