    PM Shehbaz Sharif Honors Martyr Lt Col Shahzada Gul Faraz in Mansehra Visit

    Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid a solemn visit to the residence of Lieutenant Colonel Shahzada Gul Faraz in Mansehra, expressing deep respect and gratitude for the fallen officer’s ultimate sacrifice. Lt Col Faraz was martyred while leading security forces during a critical operation against the militant group Fitna al Khawarij, a mission that underscored his unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation’s peace and stability.

    During his visit, the Prime Minister personally met with the martyr’s immediate family, including his mother, wife, and children. In a heartfelt interaction, he offered prayers and conveyed the nation’s condolences, recognizing the immense pain and loss endured by the family. His presence brought a message of solidarity and reassurance that the sacrifices made by Lt Col Faraz would never be forgotten.

    Following the home visit, Shehbaz Sharif proceeded to the grave of Lieutenant Colonel Shahzada Gul Faraz, where he performed fateha and prayed for the martyr’s elevated status in the hereafter. He also sought strength and patience for the bereaved family, acknowledging the heavy burden they bear. The Prime Minister emphasized that the courage and bravery displayed by Lt Col Faraz serve as a shining example for all Pakistanis, highlighting the officer’s role as a true patriot who laid down his life for the homeland.

    Addressing the significance of the sacrifice, the Prime Minister remarked that the entire nation holds its martyrs and their families in the highest regard. He stressed that their sacrifices form the foundation of Pakistan’s security and sovereignty, and that the country remains eternally indebted to them. To honor this commitment, Shehbaz Sharif assured that both the government and the Pakistan Army would continue to provide comprehensive support and care to the family of the martyr.

    In a significant announcement aimed at preserving the legacy of Lieutenant Colonel Shahzada Gul Faraz, the Prime Minister declared the establishment of a Daanish School in Mansehra bearing the martyr’s name. This educational institution is intended to serve as a lasting tribute, fostering opportunities for local youth and symbolizing the values of courage, dedication, and service exemplified by Lt Col Faraz. The school is expected to contribute to the development of the region while keeping alive the memory of a hero who gave everything for his country.
