In a significant development aimed at accelerating development efforts in Sindh, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif assured the provincial leadership of unwavering federal support for the prompt completion of ongoing projects. During a detailed meeting held on Wednesday with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of seamless collaboration between the federal government and the provincial administration to ensure that public welfare initiatives reach their intended goals without delay.

The Chief Minister provided an extensive update on the status of various development schemes currently underway across Sindh, outlining the progress made and the challenges faced. This briefing allowed the Prime Minister to gain a comprehensive understanding of the province’s needs and the critical areas requiring immediate attention. Following the discussion, the Prime Minister directed all relevant federal ministries and departments to work closely with Sindh’s government, fostering a cooperative environment that prioritizes the welfare of the people.

Highlighting the strategic alliance between the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the federal government, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif described the coalition as a vital force for national progress. He underscored that the partnership between coalition members is not only essential for political stability but also crucial for maintaining policy continuity across the country. The Prime Minister reiterated that mutual respect, consultation, and harmony among allied parties would pave the way for sustainable development and democratic consolidation.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister praised Sindh’s leadership role within the coalition, recognizing the province as a key stakeholder in the federal government’s broader agenda. He stressed that enhanced coordination between the federation and provinces is fundamental to strengthening Pakistan’s democratic framework. Such unity, he noted, would enable more effective responses to public concerns and facilitate the implementation of policies that directly benefit citizens.

The meeting also touched upon the current political landscape in Sindh and other issues of shared interest, reflecting the ongoing dialogue between the federal and provincial governments. Alongside Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, several senior federal officials participated in the discussions, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Ministers Azam Nazeer Tarar and Ahsan Iqbal, as well as Adviser to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah. Their presence underscored the federal government’s commitment to supporting Sindh’s development priorities.

As Pakistan continues to navigate complex political and economic challenges, this meeting serves as a reminder of the critical role that intergovernmental cooperation plays in advancing national development. The Prime Minister’s pledge of full federal backing for Sindh’s projects is expected to expedite progress and deliver tangible benefits to the province’s residents, reinforcing the government’s dedication to inclusive growth and democratic governance.
