Dan Levy has spoken candidly about how he has managed to cope following the death of his Schitt’s Creek co-star, Catherine O’Hara. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Levy described the loss as profoundly felt, emphasizing O’Hara’s irreplaceable presence.

Reflecting on the weeks after her passing, Levy revealed that one of the greatest sources of solace was witnessing the immense outpouring of love and tributes from fans and colleagues alike. He noted that this collective response made the grief feel shared, as many people connected deeply with her work.

Levy characterized O’Hara’s death as a loss that extended far beyond those who knew her personally. “She was the greatest. She’s irreplaceable,” he said, highlighting the widespread sense of mourning that touched countless individuals.

Catherine O’Hara passed away on January 30 after a brief illness. She was best known for her iconic role as Moira Rose on Schitt’s Creek, as well as memorable performances in films such as Home Alone and Beetlejuice.

Levy, who portrayed David Rose alongside O’Hara, Eugene Levy, and Annie Murphy in the acclaimed series, has previously described working with her as a true gift, considering her an extended member of his family. As tributes continue to flow, her profound impact remains evident, with her legacy resonating across generations and audiences worldwide.
