Six individuals lost their lives in a severe collision involving a gas bowser and a Toyota Corolla on the Makran Coastal Highway (N-10) near Ormara’s Sarpat area on Wednesday.
The incident took place in Zone 1B2 as the Toyota Corolla, registered BJN-481, was traveling from Turbat towards Karachi. The vehicle collided with the gas bowser moving in the same direction, resulting in the immediate death of all six occupants inside the car.
The victims comprised two men, two women, and two children. The driver of the car, named Aslam, was among those who died in the crash.
Following the accident, Coastal Highway Police promptly arrived at the scene to conduct rescue operations. Authorities secured the area and implemented measures to maintain the flow of traffic.
SP Aslam Bangulzai confirmed that traffic on the Makran Coastal Highway has since resumed normal movement in both directions.
