A tragic incident unfolded in Karachi’s Qayyumabad area where a one-and-a-half-year-old girl lost her life after reportedly being sexually assaulted. The child was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died during treatment. In a significant development, law enforcement officials apprehended the suspect, identified as a close relative of the child, from his residence in the city. The caller informed police that the suspect had taken the toddler out for a walk. Upon her return, the child was found in a severely deteriorated state, leading to her urgent hospitalization.
