Taylor Swift, who has never performed at Coachella, is rumored to be attending the 2026 festival to support her friends’ performances. The 35-year-old superstar and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, were seen enjoying the 2024 event, singing and dancing together, which fueled speculation about her return this year.
Notably, Swift is anticipated to appear during the sets of Sombr and Sabrina Carpenter, both of whom have highly awaited performances scheduled. Carpenter is slated to headline on April 11 and 18, sharing the stage with major acts like Lady Gaga and Post Malone. Meanwhile, Sombr is set to perform on April 12 and 19.
Fans quickly reacted to the news, flooding social media with excitement and calls for a surprise duet between Swift and Carpenter, referencing their collaboration on “Life of a Showgirl.” Some even humorously suggested Carpenter should “arrest” Swift, a nod to Carpenter’s “Juno” arrest tradition during shows.
Despite the buzz, Taylor Swift’s attendance at Coachella has not been officially confirmed. Earlier in the month, Swedish singer Zara Larsson sparked controversy after comments in an interview appeared to criticize Swift and her fanbase. Larsson explained her reluctance to release singles before the deluxe edition of her album Midnight Sun, stating that “playing the chart game is so dead” and that only industry insiders and perhaps Swift’s fans pay attention to charts.
Shortly after, Larsson clarified her remarks on Instagram Stories, emphasizing that her comments were made out of admiration and even envy for Swift’s success, dispelling any notion of criticism.
