PM Shehbaz Sharif Commends Security Forces for Eliminating 13 Terrorists in KP Operation

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed profound appreciation for the Pakistan Armed Forces following their successful operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which resulted in the elimination of 13 terrorists linked to the India-backed groups Fitna Al-Hindustan and Fitna-al-Khawarij. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the ongoing counterterrorism efforts within the region, highlighting the dedication and strategic planning of the security agencies involved.

In a public statement issued on Sunday, the Prime Minister underscored the importance of these victories, noting that they are the outcome of a meticulously coordinated campaign against extremist elements threatening the peace and stability of the country. He emphasized that the security forces continue to operate with unwavering resolve and professionalism, successfully dismantling terrorist networks that have long sought to destabilize Pakistan.

Shehbaz Sharif also reiterated the unwavering support of the entire nation for the brave men and women serving in the Pakistan Armed Forces. He highlighted that the collective spirit of the country remains firmly united in the fight against terrorism, reflecting a shared commitment to safeguarding the homeland from all forms of violent extremism. This solidarity, he stated, is crucial in sustaining momentum in the ongoing war on terror.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister reaffirmed the government’s steadfast determination to eradicate terrorism from Pakistan once and for all. He vowed that the state will persist in its efforts, leaving no stone unturned until the menace of terrorism is completely eliminated. This pledge comes at a time when Pakistan continues to face complex security challenges, making such operations vital for the nation’s long-term peace and security.

It is worth noting that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been a focal point in Pakistan’s counterterrorism strategy due to its strategic location and history of militant activity. The recent operation not only disrupts the operational capabilities of these terrorist groups but also sends a strong message about the government’s resolve to maintain law and order across all provinces. Moving forward, continued vigilance and cooperation between intelligence agencies and security forces will be essential to sustain these gains and prevent future threats.
