The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Kohat has officially released the results for the Intermediate Annual Examinations 2026. Leading the merit list, Hadiya Tariq from Oxford Science School and College Chokara Karak achieved the highest marks, securing 1,142 in total.
Following closely, Muhammad Waleed Yousaf of Cadet College Kohat earned second place with 1,136 marks, while his fellow student Muhammad Thaiban claimed the third position, scoring 1,132 marks. Notably, in the Pre-Engineering category, Muhammad Habil and Umar Zahid Khan, both from Cadet College Kohat, shared the first position, each obtaining 1,122 marks.
In the General Science group, Muhammad Waleed Yousaf stood out as the top scorer with his 1,136 marks. Overall, 54,224 candidates appeared for the Intermediate Annual Examinations 2026, with 15,862 students successfully passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 29.25 percent.
The Kohat Board extended congratulations to all successful candidates and commended the outstanding achievements of the position holders. Students are advised to check their results using the official procedure announced by the board.
Meanwhile, the Malakand Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education also declared its Intermediate Annual Examination results. Private college students dominated the top ranks, with female students securing 10 of the 12 top positions, and two male students also featuring among the position holders.
In a significant development, Aimana Malik, a private college student, achieved the first position with 1,133 marks. The second position was also claimed by a private college student with 1,132 marks, followed by Salwa Iqbal, another private college student, who secured the third position with 1,118 marks.
