Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has introduced an innovative hybrid solar water heater that combines solar energy with an electric backup system to ensure continuous water heating. The company unveiled this new product through a video posted on its official X account, promoting it under the slogan “Now heat water smartly.”

This hybrid system is designed to operate using solar power primarily, while the electric backup activates during periods of insufficient sunlight or adverse weather conditions, providing a reliable alternative for heating water. Notably, the water heater is equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity, enabling users to remotely control the temperature and heating settings for added convenience.

The unit features a storage capacity of 200 litres and can maintain hot water for up to 24 hours. SNGPL highlighted that this hybrid water heater is ideal not only for residential use but also for commercial establishments such as hotels, restaurants, hospitals, and laundries.

Priced at Rs128,893, the system includes free shipping and installation services. Additionally, customers have the option to purchase the heater through a 12-month interest-free installment plan, making it more accessible.
